Lyft hires first-ever VP of corporate growth and financier relations


Following Lyft’s new $1.5 billion appropriation round, the company has motionless to bring on house Kristina Omari as its first-ever clamp boss of corporate growth and financier family as it continues to grow. Omari also happens to now be the top ranking black womanlike executive at Lyft.

Lyft, according to its Jun 2017 farrago report, has a care group that is just one percent black. Leadership includes managers who have approach reports. Of the 54 black women Lyft employed at the time of the report, only 10 were professionals while 44 were in executive support jobs. Omari was many recently VP of corporate growth at Fitbit and co-founder of farrago and inclusion non-profit classification BuildUp.

“We couldn’t be some-more vehement to acquire Kristina to the flourishing team,” Lyft Chief Financial Officer Brian Roberts pronounced in a statement. “She brings a proven lane record of assisting companies grow in a fast-paced environment. Her skills and knowledge will help Lyft continue to enhance as we work toward the goal of improving people’s lives with the world’s best transportation.”
