This unconventional tumbleweed is indeed a minesweeper

Mine Kafon‘ is a “low-cost wind-powered cave detonator with a coming of a giant, spiky-armed tumbleweed.”

There’s an estimated 110 million mines still buried around a world. The contriver of ‘Mine Kafon’ – a former Afghan interloper – hopes it will enthuse others to join a bid to make a universe mine-free by 2027.
