A LORRY motorist has been arrested after 3 friends were killed when their automobile crashed into a parked HGV.
The black Mercedes hit the lorry on the London-bound A2 at about 4.30am on Thursday.
Three men in the car, all in their 30s and from Finsbury Park, North London, died at the stage nearby Dunkirk, Kent.
A fourth man in his 20s, from Enfield, North London, was also in the car.
He was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
A companion of the victims said: “They were very close friends and neighbours who have grown up together.
Everyone knew them and is in shock.”
The French trucker, 35, was arrested on guess of causing death by forward or dangerous driving, and had been bailed.
