THIS intolerable picture shows the painful and smashed face of a thin licentiate aged 88 after a bully pennyless into her residence and smashed her as she lay sleeping.
The criminal pulled her out of her bed to the building and demanded cash at 12.30am on Saturday.
The assailant continued to lambaste her as she lay on the floor. He also ransacked her Lancashire home before journey the scene.

The licentiate was taken to Wigan Hospital where she was being treated for her injuries.

Detective Inspector Warren Atkinson said: “I would like to appreciate the open for their implausible response to the interest for information following this incident.

Posting on Facebook, the victim’s grandson thanked Chorley police for their efforts, writing: “Thanks for the messages everybody, we are so relieved that he has been caught.
“My Grandma is doing ok, she’s out of hospital now, smashed and painful but ok.
“A large appreciate you to Chorley Police for all you have done!”
