Saudi ‘cleric’ claims women shouldn’t be allowed to drive since they ‘have a entertain of a brain’

A SAUDI minister has been slammed for claiming women shouldn’t drive as they have a “quarter” of the brainpower of men.

Sheikh Saad al-Hajari claimed there were “evils of permitting women to drive”, observant it wasn’t their error as they were “made that way”.

Saudi daily Sabq reported the man, who is the the conduct of the government’s eremite revelation management in the southern range of Assir, said: “It is not their fault, but women miss genius do they not?

“Their miss of genius does not mistreat their piousness since they are done that way.

“Would you give a man with half an genius a pushing licence? So how would you give one to a lady when she has half an intellect?”

He then added: “If they go out to the marketplace this gets halved again! So they now have a entertain of an intellect.”

The man done the comments in Saudi Arabia, where women are not allowed to drive.

His comments have been slammed on social media, with many accusing him of misrepresenting Islam.

One person reacted, saying: “A entertain of a brain contributes to the smoothness of humanity, and a full brain contributes to its regression.”

Another added: “This person is offending and denigrating Saudi women, authorities must take movement against him and fire him from his position.”
