A BLOODSTAINED lady ran screaming down a still encampment street after her boyfriend was ‘killed with a crossbow’.
Cops in Southburn, East Yorkshire were on the hunt for the suspected torpedo after dad-of-three Shane Gilmer, 30, was shot at his lodge on Friday evening.
Murder detectives last night expelled a pic of Andrew Lawrence, who is wanted in tie with the killing.
Horrified neighbours suggested how Shane’s screaming partner was “pouring with blood” as she ran down the street looking for help.
Eyewitness Chris King, 25, told how the torpedo “used a crossbow and other weapons to attack the couple after breaking in to the skill by their downstairs cellar.
“The lady had blood pouring down her face. It was terrifying. The lady was panicking and was scared.
“We didn’t hear any sound as crossbows don’t make a lot of sound so we didn’t hear anything – but the police helicopter has been going around all day.
“We’re still on lockdown here in the encampment tonight and there are a lot of police, and armed police on foot.”
“I never famous a quieter encampment for something like this to occur in. It’s just like Midsomer Murders.
The lady who was also pounded suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries, police confirmed.
A Humberside Police orator added: “Our teams – including dog units and the police helicopter – are stability to work to urgently snippet the think and settle the resources of last night’s events.”
“We’ve taken the event to name the particular and his name is Anthony Lawrence, he’s 55-years-old and was a proprietor of the Southburn area.
Lawrence has been described by police as being white, in his late 40s, around 5 foot 10 inches tall, balding, with close cropped dim hair and vast build.
