PRINCESS Charlotte will start nursery next month at an exclusive nursery costing up to £6,590 per term.
The two-year-old will join classes at the Willcocks Nursery School in London from January next year, Kensington Palace revealed this morning.
Kensington Palace released a statement, saying: “Their Royal Highnesses have also announced this morning that Princess Charlotte will attend the Willcocks Nursery School in London from January 2018.”
The nursery, which was founded in 1964, runs three terms per school year, with the morning classes costing £3,050, and the afternoon classes £1,800.
It also offers lunch club, which costs up to £1,740 for all three afternoons during the week and allows children to have outside playtime and even French lessons – although each child must bring their own lunch.
The fees must be paid in advance.
The nursery released a statement, saying: “We are delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte.
“We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January.”
It’s a different nursery to the one Charlotte’s big brother Prince George attended, with the young boy having attended Westacre Montessori School nursery in Norfolk.
The announcement came as Kensington Palace released a family Christmas photo of Prince William and wife Kate – with Prince George and Princess Charlotte cheekily smiling at the camera next to them.
The photograph shows the Duchess of Cambridge glowing in a powder blue dress, matching her adorable daughter, who is wearing a blue floral dress.
Dad Prince Wills can be seen holding George’s shoulders, with the four-year-old – who started school this year – smiling happily at the camera as he holds his dad’s hand in his customary shorts.
It’s a big year for the family, who are expecting their third child in April next year.
Kensington Palace confirmed the news that a new royal baby is on the way on September 4, 2017.
And Prince Harry will be busy himself, currently organising his wedding to US actress Meghan Markle for May next year.
Loved-up Harry and Meghan announced their engagement last month and are due to wed in Windsor.
They will spend their first Christmas as an official couple with the Royal Family.
Harry’s brother Wills, his pregnant wife Kate and their kids Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be there this year after opting to spend Christmas with the Middletons in 2016.
