A CHURCH apportion sexually abused 7 women and told them he was doing God’s work, a justice heard.
Rev John Wilson, 70, is pronounced to have told victims he was trying to expelling immorality spirits and make them better Christians.
He told one victim he allegedly raped: “God has done me a King so we am allowed to do this.”
Wilson assaulted them at their homes and his Pentecostal church in Keighley, West Yorks, from 1984 to 2010, Bradford climax justice heard.
A rapist review was launched in Jul 2014 when one of the victim’s husbands called the police.
Wilson pronounced got no passionate compensation from the “deliverances”. Instead he blamed the spirits for ripping the garments off his victims, the justice heard.
He denies 31 offences, including 23 faulty assaults, 4 swindling to dedicate faulty assaults, two rape charges and one passionate assault.
His wife Mary Wilson, 79, is charged with two depends of helping and helping faulty attack and one charge of conspiring to dedicate faulty assault.
The charge lay that she knew about the abuse and aided Wilson on 3 apart occasions.
Church priest Laurence Peterson, 58, is also charged with 4 depends of helping and helping faulty attack and 3 depends of conspiring to dedicate faulty assault.
Peterson, an partner to Wilson while he was apportion at the church, allegedly knew about the abuse over a prolonged duration of time.
