Coronation Street fans’ horror as it’s suggested Nick Tilsley could give Peter Barlow an alibi… but won’t

NICK Tilsley has suggested a secret dim side as he happily screwed over TWO characters on tonight’s Coronation Street.

The eldest child of sequence bride Gail McIntyre managed to harmonise baby Oliver’s fixing rite so that his biological father Steve McDonald couldn’t attend, and then suggested that he could give Peter Barlow an pretext for the night he has been accused of trying to kill his dad, Ken.

Speaking to half-brother David – who some competence contend is the many unhinged of Gail’s 3 children – he drunkenly suggested that he’s been sitting on a secret that could keep his partner Leanne Battersby’s ex out of jail.

Swigging from a bottle of lager as he suggested Leanne had told him she had unexpected remembered she had seen Peter the night he was accused of trying to kill his dad, he slurred: “She looked me true in the eye and told me a bare-faced whopper.

“I gamble Barlow put her up to it. She’d do anything for her changed Peter.”

He added: “I saw him that night, sitting on his car, Clitheroe Drive smoking a fag.”

David probed: “What? You saw him and you never pronounced anything?”

Nick said: “Yeah we was coming back from the booze merchant.”

Still surprised, David asked: “And you never pronounced anything all this time?”

Nick, somewhat worse for wear sneered: “Why should we chuck Barlow a lifeline?”

David sniggered: “Nicholas you are a very dim boy.”

Nick chuckled: “I get no assent since of that hunched, self-pitying alkie.”

David said: “He could have got banged up.”

Nick replied, “Hmpph, cry me a river”, call David to brand his hermit a “vindictive psycho” – utterly the fame from the reformed hellraiser.

But while David was impressed, viewers were horrified, and questioned if his brain tumour was back and had done him spin evil.

One spectator summed it up perfectly, Tweeting: “Worrying that psycho Nick is now scarier than psycho David #Corrie”

Others said: “This whole time Nick could’ve given peter and alibi😱 #Corrie #CoronationStreet”

KO for Ken . . . The Corrie fable was left for passed after being pushed down a moody of stairs

“Whoa! Nick has had an pretext for Peter all this time and has no goal of dogmatic it? Depth of his loathing suggested right there. #Corrie.”

Another said: “#corrie Nick, you’re horrid.”

One spectator said: “I see Nicky Platt is getting the soap show “character turns out to be a finish illegitimate so we’re blissful he leaves” treatment. #Corrie.”

But with Peter ruled out of the ‘Who Killed Ken Barlow’ enigma, it means there are just 3 left in the support – Adam, Daniel and Sinead.
