The Hollywood Reporter threw a 35 Most Powerful People in Media jubilee in Midtown on Thursday, bringing together a various collection of characters, including opposition wire network anchors CNN and Fox News.
And CNN anchor Don Lemon had each reason to stay home.
“I had dual base canals yesterday,” Lemon said, display us that he still had a remedy to infer it.
Lemon told us that he’s distant some-more expected to accommodate people during a celebration than he is on an app like Tinder, that he avoids.
“I’m indeed saying someone, though before that we would not do … we trust in a aged fashioned way.”
Honoree Bill O’Reilly, who allegedly likes to ask people out during work, was noticeably blank from a eventuality amidst new reports that Fox News has paid out $13 million to settle a handful of passionate nuisance lawsuits over a years.
“It did not go unnoticed,” confided one News Corp employee.
O’Reilly is now on a two-week break from his “No Spin Zone” program.
However, his co-worker Sean Hannity, who also done a Hollywood Reporter’s list, was happy to chat. It turns out he’s a former Newser.
“I delivered a Daily News in a morning when we was a kid, trust it or not,” pronounced Hannity, who’s doubtful to work for The News again. “But we was a misfortune paper boy. I’d get up, I’d lay subsequent to my heater since it was cold outside, we didn’t wish to broach a papers. And what I’d finish adult doing is removing out late and flinging a papers all over a place.”
Hannity couldn’t pronounce to O’Reilly’s latest turn of troubles.
“When we see him in a gymnasium we contend hi,” he said. “He’ll be back.”
Hannity afterwards clarified: “He’ll be behind a week from Monday.”
While a Daily News was not on a Hollywood Reporter’s list this year, we did win a Pulitzer Prize this week. But this celebration seemed nice, too.
